SINOHESIVE® RG1128 is a two-component PUR adhesive solution designed for high-end flexible packaging lamination. It completely replaces solvent-based adhesives, helping create a safer, odor-free production environment with zero VOC emissions.

2. Excellent Compatibility with High-Barrier Structures

It is highly suitable for multi-layer lamination of high-barrier flexible packaging materials, especially structures such as PET/AL, Nylon/AL, OPP/AL, PET/VM-PET, BOPP/VM-PET, Paper/Aluminum Foil, and PET/Paper.

3. Outstanding Appearance & Aluminum Foil Adaptability

RG1128 performs especially well on aluminum foil structures and rigid-to-rigid laminations. It delivers excellent lamination appearance and helps solve common problems such as white spots, gray spots, and glue penetration through aluminum foil pinholes.

4. High Initial Tack & Efficient Lamination

The adhesive provides high initial tack similar to dry bond laminating adhesives, enabling rapid positioning between film layers and helping improve production yield and line efficiency.

5. Safe for Food & Pharmaceutical Packaging

The formulation contains no primary aromatic amine migration, meeting strict hygiene and safety requirements for food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, and other high-value packaging applications.

Key Process Description

1. Adhesive Preparation

SINOHESIVE® RG1128 is used as a two-component PUR adhesive system for flexible packaging lamination. It is prepared according to the required process conditions before coating.

2. Uniform Coating Application

The adhesive is applied evenly onto the target film or foil surface to form a thin and consistent bonding layer, helping ensure stable wetting and clean lamination appearance.

3. Film-to-Film Lamination

After coating, the target substrates are laminated together under controlled pressure and line conditions. The high initial tack helps achieve fast positioning and smooth layer integration.

4. Bond Development

After lamination, the adhesive system continues to build durable bonding strength, supporting high barrier performance, stable structure, and reliable finished-package quality.
