Automotive Headliner Assembly Lamination

Automotive headliner systems combine lightweight boards, foam, textile fabrics and decorative surface materials. During vehicle use, these assemblies are exposed to high cabin temperatures, low-temperature conditions, humidity, UV exposure and continuous vibration. Inadequate bonding can result in fabric lifting, foam separation, edge curling, blistering or long-term delamination.

SINOHESIVE® PUR hot melt adhesives are designed for automotive headliner assembly, headliner fabric lamination and panoramic sunshade lamination. The adhesives provide fast initial tack for stable positioning, followed by moisture-curing crosslinking for durable bond strength, heat resistance and long-term reliability. They are suitable for automated and manual lamination processes, including full-surface coating, roll coating and high-coat-weight re-lamination.

Compatible with Multi-Layer Structures

The adhesive system supports bonding between common automotive headliner materials, including fiberglass boards, PP/ABS substrates, fabrics, foam, leather and metal components. It is suitable for lightweight multi-layer interior structures.

Heat, Cold and Aging Resistance

After moisture curing, the PUR adhesive forms a durable crosslinked bond layer with good heat stability and flexibility. It helps headliner and sunshade assemblies withstand temperature cycling, summer heat exposure and long-term vehicle use.

Low-Odor, Solvent-Free Technology

SINOHESIVE® PUR hot melt adhesives are 100% solids and solvent-free. They are suitable for automotive interior applications that require lower odor, cleaner processing and controlled VOC performance.
