Aluminum Foil & Paper Packaging Solvent-Free Laminating Adhesive
Application Overview
SINOHESIVE solvent-free laminating adhesive for aluminum foil and paper-based packaging is designed for lamination of flexible packaging and textile materials. It is suitable for structures such as film/aluminum foil, film/metallized film, film/film, film/paper, film/fabric, and fabric/foam.The adhesive is particularly suitable for relatively rigid laminate structures such as PET/aluminum foil, OPP/aluminum foil, and PET/VM-PET, as well as paper-based and porous fiber structures including BOPP/paper, PET/paper, aluminum foil/paper, and PET/nonwoven fabric. The product can be supplied using two-component hot-melt adhesive equipment and applied by roller coating, spray application, or stripe extrusion.

Low VOC & Environmentally Responsible
The product uses a solvent-free system and shows no primary aromatic amine migration.According to technical data, it meets applicable FDA requirements for adhesives and can be considered for aluminum foil, paper-based, and flexible packaging applications where package odor, hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance are important.Specific compliance should be confirmed based on the packaged contents, final laminate structure, and regulations applicable in the target market.

Key Benefits
Suitable for Aluminum Foil and Metallized Structures
The adhesive is suitable for relatively rigid laminate structures such as PET/aluminum foil, OPP/aluminum foil, PET/VM-PET, and BOPP/VM-PET.It can help reduce appearance defects such as white spots, gray spots, and adhesive strike-through through pinholes.Actual performance should be verified according to the film, aluminum foil, printing ink, and equipment conditions.
Compatible with Paper-Based and Porous Fiber Materials
The adhesive can be used for structures such as BOPP/paper, PET/paper, aluminum foil/paper, BOPP/fabric, PET/nonwoven fabric, nylon/fabric, and TPU/fabric.For porous substrates such as paper, fabric, and nonwoven materials, proper control of adhesive coat weight can help balance lamination performance and material cost.
Excellent Boiling-Water Resistance
After full curing and filling with the intended packaged contents, most suitable laminate structures can withstand boiling-water sterilization at 100°C for approximately 30 minutes. This supports food and related packaging applications requiring boiling-water resistance.Actual chemical and heat resistance should be validated using the final packaging structure.
High Initial Tack for Stable Production
The adhesive provides high initial tack, helping maintain stable operation of the lamination line and reduce processing losses during production. After curing, the adhesive layer provides good boiling-water resistance, supporting long-term reliability of the finished laminate structure.
Suitable for Two-Component Hot-Melt Lamination Processes
The product has relatively high viscosity after mixing at elevated temperatures and is therefore recommended for use with two-component hot-melt adhesive equipment for automatic metering, mixing, and adhesive supply.Part A and Part B should be mixed at the specified ratio according to the product and process requirements. At 80°C, the mixed adhesive provides a pot life of approximately 20–25 minutes in the adhesive tray.
