Application Overview

SINOHESIVE retort-resistant solvent-free laminating adhesive is designed for film-to-film lamination in flexible packaging applications.It is suitable for common plastic laminate structures such as OPP/LDPE, PET/LDPE, and Nylon/CPP, as well as structures involving aluminum foil, metallized films, and thicker films, including Al/LDPE, Al/CPP, VM-PET/LDPE, VM-PET/CPP, and PET/thick PE.The product consists of Part A and Part B and is typically applied using a two-component adhesive supply system combined with a multi-roll transfer coating process, providing stable processing performance for flexible packaging lamination.

Low VOC & Environmentally Responsible

The product uses a solvent-free system and forms a transparent, odorless adhesive layer after lamination and curing.According to technical data, the adhesive shows no primary aromatic amine migration and meets applicable FDA requirements for adhesives, making it suitable for flexible packaging projects where odor, hygiene, food-contact safety, and regulatory compliance are important considerations.Specific compliance should be confirmed based on the packaged contents, final laminate structure, and regulations applicable in the target market.

Suitable for a Wide Range of Flexible Packaging Structures

The adhesive is suitable for laminating transparent or printed plastic films and can also be used in structures such as aluminum foil/LDPE.It provides good bonding performance on corona-treated non-polar substrates such as LDPE and CPP, supporting a wide range of flexible packaging laminate structures.

Suitable for Metallized Films and Rigid Film Structures

The adhesive is suitable for metallized structures such as OPP/VM-CPP and OPP/VM-PET, as well as inner-layer lamination involving Al/LDPE, Al/CPP, PET/thick PE, and other relatively rigid film structures.It supports the production of multi-layer flexible packaging with different barrier and structural requirements.

Supports High-Temperature Sterilization Packaging

After curing, the adhesive layer provides good heat resistance and is suitable for packaging subjected to high-temperature sterilization at approximately 100–110°C.For actual retort or sterilization applications, performance should be fully validated according to the laminate structure, packaged contents, sterilization temperature, and processing time.

Transparent, Odorless & Flexible Adhesive Layer

After curing, the adhesive layer is transparent, odorless, and flexible.It also provides good aging resistance, helping maintain both package appearance and long-term laminate reliability.

Suitable for High-Speed, Stable Roll-Coating Lamination

The adhesive is suitable for multi-roll transfer coating processes.Part A and Part B should be mixed at the specified ratio according to the actual product and process requirements. At 32°C, the mixed adhesive provides a pot life of approximately 35–40 minutes.
